- What is the difference between extended abstract of paper and full paper?
- After the sessions are defined (i.e. 15th November 2009), authors will be able to submit an extended abstract of the work that they intend to present at CAA. After the conference, authors will be required to submitt a full paper (8 pages length), that will be re-refeered and, in case it is accepted, it will be published in the conference proceedings.
- When will I be able to submit and extended abstract?
- The online system for submitting extended abstracts will be open on November 15th 2009.
- What is the difference between short papers and extended abstracts?
- Short papers are final versions of works, up to four pages. Short papers will be presented in CAA Conference in specific sessions, and each short paper author will have 10' to explain his work. Extended abstract are a brief and preliminar version of a paper (up to four pages length), that will be completed and submitted after the conference. Authors of papers (those that have submitted extended abstracts) will have 20' to explain their work. Full papers will be selected for publishing at Journals, short papers won't. Both will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
- Why is there a call for sessions proposals?
- CAA 2010 organization wants to promote the participation of the scientific community in the conference. A way of achieving this goal is to ask researchers the topics around which the conference will run. After the sessions are defined, authors will be able to submitt their extended abstracts.
- Can I submit an extended abstract and also a workshop proposal?
- Of course! You can participate in as many streams as you like.
